Symbols of Love are a ‘Bespoke Jewellery Company’ that is passionate about jewellery. We provide fellow lovers of jewellery with exquisite, quality jewellery based on existing jewellery designs, which they have fallen in love with but perhaps is outside their budget to purchase. Alternatively, Symbols of Love can also help you create new specially designed piece of jewellery to your own design and price specifications.

All you need to do is simply provide us with a photo/web link of an existing piece of jewellery or rough hand-drawn sketch, that you want our skilled artisan craftsmen to be inspired by, and then it is down to us to fulfil your dreams. Once we have received your design brief we can then create a Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) of your jewellery design that is rendered to look just like the final piece of jewellery. The rendering looks 3D and is in full colour – we can then show you your bespoke piece of jewellery from many angles.

From this stage you can then either proceed straight to production, or if you prefer for a small extra charge, you can have the design produced as an actual size wax/silver prototype, to ensure the feel and size of the piece of jewellery is exactly what you desire. This prototype can also remain yours and actually become a lovely romantic memento or keepsake.
Once the design is approved by you and we have received a 50% deposit our highly skilled craftsmen will start to produce your unique piece of jewellery. Once completed you can then choose whether to have your jewellery delivered to your home or you can collect it from our studio in Romford, East of London.

We can offer you personal advice on choosing a diamond based on your budget. If you know what shape stone you prefer we can email you a list of suitable approved certificated stones showing precise details of the quality, colour, cut and price for you to choose from. Our diamonds are conflict free and come with world leading certification like GIA, EDR, IGI, and HRD.

At Symbols of Love jewellery we can create a piece to your own bespoke and personal design, or you can choose from our beautiful collections (see below) – please note that there may be a delay in opening the links as we have uploaded over 2,000 designs for you to view and choose from!

The whole process from original concept design to delivery (depending on the complexity) takes an estimated 3 to 6 weeks. If however you desire a piece of jewellery urgently then please do speak to us and we will try our very best to make it happen.

The whole design to delivery process can be done remotely. We can accept photos and web links via email sent to info@symbolsoflovejewellery.com. We can also accept card payment over the phone to 07577 042 537 and prototypes and delivery can be arranged to any where in the World (postal charge does apply). Alternatively you can conduct the whole process personally with our craftsmen in our studio in Romford, East London/Essex – the choice is yours!

You may be surprised to discover that this is a very affordable option. We keep our costs to a minimum and we are confident that we can beat or at least match any comparable offer you can find either in the high street or the web. You are very welcome to send us your best quote or offer and we will do our very best to better it. For example our jewellery comes with an insurance replacement valuation, which can be up to or considerably over double your purchase price.

We offer choice. You can choose your own design and metals used; yellow gold, rose gold, white gold or platinum. You can choose exactly what kind of stones you would like at prices that meet your budget; diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds… and how many. All our materials are chosen for their high quality, our white gold usually contains high palladium content that ensures it stays white. And All our jewellery can be returned for repair should you accidently knock or damage your item. If you have unwanted jewellery we can usually beat any price offered in the high street and this can be used as a deposit against a purchase.

We can melt down your old jewellery and use it to make a wedding band or other items of jewellery, always ask about this option if it appeals to you. The Symbols of Love bespoke jewellery company offers you the chance to have a piece of jewellery made whether it be a unique and romantic wedding ring, engagement ring, necklace pendant or even a pair of cufflinks to celebrate a special event such as a birthday or anniversary, our jewellery will be uniquely yours, we can also engrave your message inside your ring – love to be different!

All precious metal jewellery offered by us carries the legally-required independent UK hallmark verifying the precious metal content (unless the item is exempt by weight). We are required to obtain sampling and testing by one of the four UK Assay offices to ensure that jewellery supplied is the claimed standard. 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct, Platinum .950 or 900, Palladium or silver .925. 

Peter, our Head Jeweller and business Founder, has over 30 years experience designing and manufacturing for large UK jewellery wholesalers and retailers, including Ernest Jones, Goldsmiths, F.Hinds and Beaverbrooks as well as many independent family jewellers. He also served a 5-year apprenticeship in central London and attended the John Cass College for diamond setting, jewellery mounting and hand engraving. Peter, the owner of Symbols of Love Jewellery, has been a member of the British Jewellers' Association (now called National Association of Jewellers) for over 40 years, through his other manufacturing company (Martine UK Ltd).
